Focus SEND Youth Work Project (SfYP) ages 13-17 (Waltham Cross) - 04/02/2025

Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People (SfYP) supports young people with SEND, including those with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, to make a successful transition into adulthood.

If you are aged 13-17 and interested in playing sports, cooking, arts & crafts, music-making and socialising then this is the project for you!

SfYP Waltham Cross Young People's Centre offers a range of high-quality facilities that you can access when you come to this project. We have a fully working music studio, an ICT suite, games consoles, football sessions, table tennis, pool, kitchen, a large sports hall & outside space. The activities are designed around you so there is plenty of flexibility to the needs of the group.

At the Focus SEND Youth Work Project, qualified Services for Young People Youth Workers support young people with:

• relationships
• confidence and resilience
• staying safe
• emotional wellbeing
• healthy lifestyles
• food, nutrition and cooking
• managing money and budgeting

Services for Young People Youth Workers are experienced in working with young people with a variety of needs. When you join the project there is a short assessment to see if you need help with anything specific.

The SfYP Waltham Cross Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
