    About this event

     A complete guide to parenting children with Autism and ADHD and associated conditions

    A free award-winning 10 week course for those parents living in Hertfordshire and parenting children with Autism or ADHD (inclusive of those with a diagnosis or awaiting assessment) aged 2 - 11 years.

    Facilitated by founders Lesley and Francine, our course aims to help parents: 

    • Gain a greater understanding of how to answer the question 'Why does my child do that?'
    • Learn a range of strategies and solutions, to better manage behaviours that challenge
    • Understand the sensory needs of children 
    • Increase understanding of children's common sleep issues
    • Learn how to support siblings living with a neurodiverse brother or sister
    • Communicate effectivity with children to increase children's emotional regulation
    • Meet other parents living in similar families and share experiences
    • Learn techniques to manage stress, conflict and so much more....

    Tuesday mornings 9.30am - 11.30am or Tuesday evenings 6.30 - 8.30pm

    Online live streamed - Google Classroom

    Venue Information

    This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.
