How to have your say - parliament workshop (Carers in Hertfordshire)

Monday 30th June 2025, 11am - 1pm

This workshop is an introduction to how Parliament works. You will learn how you can amplify your voice as a carer to Parliament and to local government.

It is for anyone who –

• wants to know how and when to approach your MP, your councillor or your elected Mayor
• wants to a basic overview of how laws are made, and policy decided
• wants to influence policy at a national level based on your lived experience of being a carer
• is interested in what Carers in Hertfordshire are each doing to amplify the carers’ voice
