Discover how to use local and national sources for your family history in Hertfordshire and beyond. This session will be held at Hertfordshire Archives and online via MS Teams.

In addition to our week day opening hours we also open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, from 10am to 2pm. We're open until 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of each month by appointment only. Contact us by 9am on the previous Friday to book. Vending machine with hot drinks. Customers are welcome to bring their own flask and refreshments to eat in our foyer area. Water cooler (bring your own re-usable cup or bottle). Purchases can be made from the Heritage Shop in person or through our e-store.

- We ask attendees to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the event so that we can start promptly. “Doors” open approx. 15 minutes before the start time.
- Please be courteous and respectful of other people and their opinions. We want everyone to feel comfortable able to share their views. We therefore do not record our online events, unless clearly stated.
- Please consider privacy and security: We strongly recommend that you blur your background if you are joining and event from home.
- Please do not record sessions yourself, take screenshots or photographs.
Please be mindful of what you post to the chat, which can be viewed by all other attendees. There is no option on MS Teams to send a private message. - Please stay on topic. Our events are organised for specific reasons, so posts/comments not related to the topic will be removed from the Chat.
- No solicitation/sales. All promotional posts/comments will be removed from the Chat
- We will not accept harassment of any form including (but not limited to) comments or behaviour based on race, religion, ethnicity, language, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, physical or cognitive ability, age, physical appearance, education or other group status.
