    About this event

Join us on 30 July for a display of magnificent charters from Hertfordshire Archives. Covering nine centuries and featuring a range of monarchs, this is a rare opportunity to view a fascinating and varied range of charters on display together.

The highlight will be our earliest document, the 1060 charter witnessed by Edward the Confessor, Queen Edith and Earl Harold. See it before it joins the blockbuster Bayeux Tapestry exhibition at the British Museum!

We will be open from 6pm-8.15pm with tickets available every half hour, all ages welcome. Once in you are welcome to stay as long as you like. Tickets cost £6 for adults, £3 for under 18s.
