    About this event

Hertfordshire County Council Public Health are holding a conference on Supporting Communities During Adverse Weather Events.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day, and free parking is available on site.

During the day we aim to explain the weather-health alerting system, provide scenarios of adverse hot and cold weather, get an understanding of the help that would be available to the public during these types of incidents from the VCFSE sector and how the alerts could support these activities during incidents.

Speakers will be attending from UKHSA, MET Office, Environment Agency as well as HCC, representing Adult Care Services, Humanitarian Response, Evidence and Intelligence, and Health Protection.
