    About this event

    Making maps and behind the scenes at the archives tour

    Learn about some of our amazing maps and create your own based on a real or imaginary place. You will also be able to descend into our basement and discover what goes on behind the scenes in a special tour.

    Cost £3 per child admits one adult free. Suitable for children aged 5 years and over. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

    Venue Information

    Saturday Opening – we're open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, from 10am to 2pm. We're open until 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of each month by appointment only. Contact us by 9am on the previous Friday to book. Vending machine with hot drinks. Customers are welcome to bring their own flask and refreshments to eat in our foyer area. Water cooler (bring your own re-usable cup or bottle). Purchases can be made from the Heritage Shop in person or through our estore.
